As 3000 people all dressed in white descended upon the Botanic Gardens, we were excited to showcase what we had been up to that afternoon. Diner En Blanc originated 30 years ago in Paris and is now a worldwide phenomenon. At the last minute a secret location is revealed. Thousands of people, dressed in all white, and conducting themselves with the greatest decorum, elegance, and etiquette all meet for a mass “chic picnic” in a public space.
Over the course of the evening, guests experienced the beauty and the uniqueness of being surrounded by 2999 others dressed all in white. There were no disruptions, only amazed and astonished looks from passersby observing the scene before them. The vibe was almost like a dream. Some went all out creating custom spaces consisting of hanging umbrellas and even hanging chandeliers.
This year we were invited to style a corporate table via our friends at Cuisine on Cue. To stay on brand, we went with fresh white florals with just hints of seasonal greenery. Congratulations to Cuisine on Cue for executing such a fantastic event – the food was DIVINE!
Prawns were plentiful, canapés were creative and the food kept on coming! An array of fresh seafood continued to lay aside our path of lush styling for our Cuisine on Cue table. Their name isn’t just creative, it’s a description of their food. Cuisine, on Cue.
