So, we are in the middle of May and it is WEDDING SEASON! It has been a wonderful start to the year with many gorgeous styling ideas resulting from inspiring collaborations with our creative brides & grooms. I just wanted to share a few of those with you to give you a little Hump-Day-Spiration to get through the rest of the week!
We have found a beautiful combination of nature; with organic elements combined with modern industrial design create the perfect wow features. Similarly gorgeous fabrics, pops of colour and metallic influences have paved the way for some stunning weddings in this first half of the year.

Cassie & Raf – Saturday 19th March.
Hosted @ Sage Rooftop in the City, this wedding was a gorgeous intimate affair with only 55 guests seated under a canopy of greenery. With ambient bulb lighting overhead, a deep grey and green setting and contrast of crisp white crockery, glassware and candle light, this was an understated yet elegant affair hosted in the city scares on a rooftop, overlooking City Hall. Perfection.
Karina & Albie – Friday 1st April.
A cocktail party with a point of difference! As guests entered the doors to this low key and relaxed cocktail party, hosted at the uber cool; “Loft’ West End, a tower flowing of champagne was being poured, beneath an overhead installation of tungsten & edison bulb lighting. Set against a warehouse style brick wall, our “Let The Love Flow” Champagne Tower was a statement entry to set the mood for this wedding cocktail party. With luxurious breakout lounges, gold & blush accessories and a statement floral installation positioned in the centre of the room, the space was adequately equipped for mingling, facing and lounging, creating a warm, cosy, sophisticated setting for the bridal party and their guests as they playfully posed in our pop up Photo Booth and grooved on the dance floor.
Trudie & Chris – Saturday 2nd April.
The ceremony was hosted @ High Church with reception to follow in the beautiful heritage listed venue that is “The Moreton Club”, Trudie & Chris’s vibrant affair was nothing short of a party atmosphere. With pops of colourful hues running down the centre of the tables through the stunning array of fresh blooms, the contrast of navy and white and clean use of glass was simply stunning. Gold chairs created the perfect combination to complete the look with ambient overhead lighting bathing the dance floor in a warm glow as guests partied late into the night.

Amanda & Ben – Saturday 16th April.
The beautiful, timeless and sophisticated venue; Fix Restaurant & Wine Bar played host to an elegant dinner party for Amanda & Ben following a wedding ceremony in the Botanic Gardens. “Modern Vintage Elegance” was the brief for for this wedding with navy lace runners custom made to create a base setting for beautiful creamy white blooms complete within mercury vessels to style the tables. With turquoise bound books upon gorgeous miniature table easels to house the table numbers, the settings with nothing short of stunning for this restaurant setting. Drop line fairy lighting was suspended behind the bridal table, pooling to the floor in an ambient glow and a stunning Photo Booth was created within the courtyard, filled with bunting flags, festoon lighting and a foliage green wall! Cannot wait to see the professional photographs!
Irvin & Matt – Saturday 30th April.
Talk about something special! Think flowing ribbons, flowers, lighting and more flowers! A gorgeous overhead statement installation suspended over the bridal table was the major feature of this State Library Reception setting with rose gold, copper & blush undertones included throughout the entire settings. Long tables complete with natural wooden chairs created a streamlined overall look and long and low hanging lighting, flowers and ribbons decorated the space to create a light and life filled affair for 130 guests celebrating the wedding of Irvin aka “Magic” and Matt. To finish the night a decadent sweets station filled with donuts, meringues, cookie cakes and general amazingness ensured all guests got their sugar hit to keep them dancing until the very last song.
Sarah & Todd - Sunday 1st May.
Hosted in one of our favourite locations, Sarah & Todd hosted an intimate reception for 53 guests @ Spicers Peak Lodge. Teaming up with the ever talented Mondo Florals, we created a super clean setting of white & black with hues of blush thrown in just for good measure. Their ceremony was held on the luscious green lawn with a beautiful three posted wedding arbour complete with abundant florals and drapery to create the perfect picturesque setting. Mondo created a beautiful green, flowing garland that completed the statement piece fireplace within the lounge of the Lodge whilst guests dined on long tables of 20 with flowers upon flowers upon flowers over a degustation dinner.
