Editorial Romance: Natashia & Charl at The Bethnal
Some weddings are elegant. Some are fun. And then there are weddings like Natashia & Charl’s - bold, fashion-forward, immersive, and completely unforgettable.
Held at The Bethnal, this celebration was designed to feel dramatic, romantic, and just a little bit unexpected. Rich crimson florals, layered pink tones, reflective disco details, candlelight, and luxe textures transformed the space into a modern editorial dream.
From the very beginning, Natashia & Charl wanted a wedding that felt expressive and full of personality. Every styling element was intentionally curated to create impact while still feeling refined and romantic.
The reception installation became the hero of the space - an abundant suspended floral feature overflowing with red roses, orchids, hydrangeas, and cascading textures suspended above the bridal table. Paired with mirrored disco balls and soft candlelight, the entire room felt moody, vibrant, and alive with energy.
The contrast between the industrial warmth of the venue and the softness of the florals created the perfect balance. Satin linens, sculptural blooms, and romantic tablescapes added depth and texture while allowing the bold colour palette to remain the focal point throughout the evening.
Natashia looked effortlessly stunning in a fitted lace gown with delicate sheer sleeves, while Charl’s classic tux styling perfectly complemented the elevated, contemporary feel of the day. Together, they brought such an incredible sense of joy and ease to every moment - something that carried through the entire celebration.
One of our favourite details from the reception was the champagne tower moment - playful, stylish, and the perfect reflection of the atmosphere they created for their guests. Every part of the evening felt celebratory in the best possible way.
Natashia & Charl, thank you for trusting us to bring your vision to life. Your day was such a beautiful reminder that wedding styling can be both deeply personal and creatively bold all at once.
